The Basics: Internship Program?

草莓影视 Cancer Research interns?spend 10 weeks?during the summer engaging in hands-on research. They’re mentored by an accomplished investigator in a cancer research lab or in a clinical or community setting.

Interns receive a stipend of $500 a week,?for a total of $5,000 for the summer internship.

No academic credit is awarded.?

Throughout the year,?interns engage in planned career-development and networking activities.

Each 草莓影视-funded institution?sets the criteria and process for intern applications and their review. Using?a selection committee, institutions may choose?4 to 8 interns.??All interns are?paired with mentors based on their research interest.

草莓影视 Grant Mechanism for Cancer Research Internship

The 草莓影视 CICRT funding opportunity for internships is awarded to institutions to support implementation of a summer experiential, mentored cancer research career training program for undergraduate college students, with yearlong networking activities.

The Internship Program targets undergraduate college students to increase their awareness and enthusiasm for opportunities to work in cancer research, a health profession, or other health-related science career.
